An electronic cigarette is a battery operated device shaped to look like a cigarette. It has an
electronic chamber that turns liquid nicotine into a puff of vapor as someone inhales through it. It is important
to note that this vapor is not smoke. It is basically nicotine and water vapor.

cigarettes.
Other users of electronic cigarettes are smokers aren't ready to quit smoking. For them,
electronic cigarette let's them cut down on the cigarettes that they're smoking or gives them an alternative in
situations where smoking is not allowed.
